Welcome to the fourth season of The X-Files. The season begins on October 4, 1996, with the broadcast of "Herrenvolk", the sequel to last season's "Talitha Cumi". Here's the scoop on the fourth season:

Morgan and Wong return!

  • Glen Morgan and James Wong, former writers for the show who left to produce "Space: Above and Beyond", have returned to The X-Files. Their first epsisode since January of 1995 will be ""Home".

    The X-Files is moving!

  • Fox Television has announced that The X-Files will be moving to Sunday nights at 9 PM Eastern/Pacific, beginning October 27. Its place on Friday nights will be taken by Chris Carter's new show, "Millenium".
